Nick: 1997 was the first time I visited Huang's International... oh wait, Universal Cup (hahaha!!) **Strange Noises**
Nick (elfin Nick): Huang's Universal Cup was a... (very sped up) very good cup involving many lots of people. **chuckle** (elfin Nick) and I had to visit the universal kiosk in order to get the universal first place of Huang's Cup. (sped up) And I had an onion on my belt because that was the style back then, and when people saw my onion inside the Huang's Universal Cup they asked me why do I have an onion on my belt... ** clip from outtake called "Freaky" ** (elfin Nick) I told them because I had to break up the rioters because I was a riot-breaker-upper but I had an onion on my belt. It was a green onion because the red ones smell too bad. Actually the green onions (sped up) smell more because they're (elfin Nick) in the ground. (Now the pitch of Nick's voice goes completely out of the window because Sam is screwing with the speed knob so much...) Huang's Universal Cup. Huang's Universal Cup. Everybody loves Huang's Universal Cup. Now... this towel I have in my hand is used to wipe (laughter) Huang's Universal Cup.
Song Info: Originally titled "Nick's Groove," this song was created on a drum machine. Nick wrote this beat, and Sam twisted the knobs around.
A little more than a year later this song was revived for the release of Sheby Dengos. The song was incorporated into the tracklisting, but was also followed by another instrumental. Fearing the listeners might lose interest after two consecutive instrumentals (who knows why?) the band decided to put this crazy rant at the end of it. Now don't get the wrong impression! The rant had already been recorded and the band was trying to think of a place to put it on the album. GeTo-roL X was the perfect fit.
